Dear Anna Maltby,

I am a student at CSU Sacramento studying Journalism and Photography.

I would like to pitch a story idea about domestic violence in which I would discuss the ways one can recognize domestic violence and address it accordingly, what facilities are available to victims, the recovery process after abuse, and what women can do to protect themselves.

Although, similar stories have already been published, I would be able to provide a different perspective for your readers by telling the stories of several extraordinary women who have been victims of domestic violence.

I have already conducted several intensive interviews with these women and they wish to share their stories in hopes of helping those women that are currently being abused and are afraid of leaving.

I can produce the story as soon as you may need it. I look forward to hearing from you and will follow-up with you in a couple of weeks.
