Dear Jennifer Barr,

I am a student at CSU Sacramento studying Journalism and Photography.

I recently traveled to South Korea and would like to pitch a travel piece that would focus on what to do and not to do while on vacation.

You may be asking yourself, with all we hear about North Korea who would want to visit its lonesome neighbor South Korea? Well, I would be able to put to rest any misconceptions your readers may have about South Korea.

South Korea is an extremely beautiful place that is full of life, culture, and some of the nicest and most respectable people you could ever meet.

Not to mention its plush gardens, breath-taking palaces and museums, and a shopping district that could easily trump that of a major American city.

I would provide a list of what to do and not to do including lodging, transportation, and food. As well as a short lesson in Korean that will have your readers haggling with the local shop owners and directing taxi cab drivers in no time.

I can produce the story as soon as you may need it. I look forward to hearing from you and will follow-up with you in a couple of weeks.

Thank you for your time,

Bali Martindale
